I wanted to build a company with an entrepreneurial culture that allowed each of us the freedom to use our skill set without excessive management layers. We built ISM by hiring bright minds who are good at what they do, and gave them the tools to succeed. This has allowed us to thrive over two decades to become the premier IT partner to 1000s of our customers worldwide who appreciate our hands on approach and our willingness to tailor our products and services to their unique needs. No two people are alike, and no two company’s needs are alike. I love the IT industry as it’s constantly changing and advancing. My office can be empty for stretches while I’m in our Technical Center learning from our engineers so I can explain technological advances to our customers. I also enjoy working side by side with our quality control, shipping/receiving, and operations departments to learn and implement improved processes in their departments. Every one of our employees is highly valued by me and I enjoy seeing them succeed in their careers while solving our customer’s needs. Our greatest reward comes from our long time customers who constantly refer us to their peers, we are very thankful for their continued partnerships and look forward to many more productive years together.

Tom Kuipers earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He has been in various sales and management positions in the IT industry since 1988 prior to founding ISM in 1995.  Tom and his wife Jessica live in Peachtree Corners and treasure quality family time with their 4 children.  Tom is passionate about helping out in the community by volunteering for and serving on boards of various charities in the Atlanta area.
